With this information, we can customize the presentation of the site content and improve and accelerate the matching of your interests. At the initial member registration screen we ask for a friendly name, password, e-mail address, and telephone number. Occasionally, we may also collect additional personal information if you choose to enter a contest or complete a survey form. Once you are a contributing member, we will use the information we receive from you to determine which of our members would most likely be inclined to listen to your submissions.

Member-Submitted Content

When submitting content to the Yodio website, you may choose to include personal information like member name, title of recording, caption, and other information that will become public when you disclose it to us on the Website. This may include, but is not limited to:
  • when you submit audio content
  • when you post questions and answers to the Feedback and consumer comments.
  • when you participate in contests and member surveys.

Cookie Technology

We use cookie technology to for managing user authentication state; we do not store any PII in the cookie. A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your browser and is stored on your computer's hard drive when you visit the Website. A cookie assigns a random, unique number to your computer. Cookies allow us to recognize members when they come to our Website after previously registering. To accelerate the micro-matching process, Yodio uses profiles of members, profiles of audio content, and profiles of content creators/authors.

In order to bring you offers that may be of interest to you, and to help finance the cost of making our website available to you, we may place advertisements on our website. Gathering information from members and guides allows us to target advertisements and sponsorships. We believe this makes information on our website more relevant to you and is more productive for our advertisers.
